Translation Project Coordinator


Brussels (Zaventem)

Job description, responsibilities and duties

  • Be responsible for the entire life-cycle of all translation projects assigned to you
  • Initiate the projects according to the set workflow for each type of project
  • Monitor project progress and update project planning
  • Communicate with clients and vendors on a daily basis
  • Coordinate with colleagues to ensure that translations are up to relevant quality standards

Required qualifications, skills and experience

  • Very good written and verbal English communication skills
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in translation or another linguistic field
  • At least 2-3 years of customer service and/or project management experience working at a Language Service Provider
  • Experience with CAT tools, especially SDL Trados Studio
  • Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork
  • Effective time management
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills


·       Working knowledge of French, German, Italian, Spanish or any other language
