Translation Project Coordinator

Brussels (Zaventem)
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Be responsible for the entire life-cycle of all translation projects assigned to you
- Initiate the projects according to the set workflow for each type of project
- Monitor project progress and update project planning
- Communicate with clients and vendors on a daily basis
- Coordinate with colleagues to ensure that translations are up to relevant quality standards
Required qualifications, skills and experience
- Very good written and verbal English communication skills
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in translation or another linguistic field
- At least 2-3 years of customer service and/or project management experience working at a Language Service Provider
- Experience with CAT tools, especially SDL Trados Studio
- Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork
- Effective time management
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
Asset
· Working knowledge of French, German, Italian, Spanish or any other language
